The return to the Champions League ended in the group stage, followed by a Europa League exit on penalties against Beşiktaş. Beşiktaş’s 26 February fixture is incorrectly labelled first leg by LFChistory. The dated fixture sequence establishes the second leg; the published result does not repeat the error.
Origi was signed in 2014 but remained at Lille on loan. Gerrard’s farewell is described here; his summer transfer entry appears in 2015–16. Transfer fees and unverified reserve moves are omitted.
