Roy Evans
Fowler and McManaman flourished in an adventurous Liverpool side. Evans restored attacking confidence and won the League Cup in his first full season.
A 3–5–2 system helped Liverpool finish fourth and lift the 1995 League Cup. Stan Collymore joined Fowler in attack, but promising league challenges never became a title. Evans later shared the job with Gérard Houllier.
